These pictures were taken on campus, me and James found a lovely wooded area that only dog walkers seem to visit. I’m going to keep it in mind for next time I want to go for a picnic! This outfit is all vintage, apart from my accessories. I bought the skirt from a vintage shop in Amsterdam, my top is from the vintage fair in York, the jacket is vintage from ebay (which I altered to my size) and my shoes are vintage, from Deep! I try to buy clothes that are either second hand or from shops that I know are ethically and environmentally conscious, but it gets so hard sometimes. My Topshop addiction is a hard one to quit. It was much easier to give up meat than it is to give up Topshop! It’s also really hard to know which shops are okay, and which aren’t. I wish someone would just give me a guidebook telling me which I should buy from.
It’s sunglasses time of year, yippee! These are from H&M – round sunglasses are my favourites. My big dangly earrings were a gift from two of my wonderful friends. I love how sparkly they are, they make me feel glamorous even when I’m wearing a fairly simple outfit.
I hope you have a lovely Sunday 🙂 If you’re in the UK, make sure you make time to enjoy this glorious weather! Unfortunately I’m still essay writing, and I find it excrutiatingly hard to concentrate outside, but I will defeninitely be having all of my meals on the picnic bench outside.
I love the skirt and the look so chic.
