September Goals

September GoalsI have been inspired by Chiaki and Kaylah to start doing monthly goals on the blog. Autumn is the season for starting new things, and even though I’m not starting a new school / university year, it’s still nice to have things to work on!

1. Find a job / internship. This goal is my main priority, for obvious reasons. It isn’t entirely under my control, but I’m going to spend September putting out as many applications as possible, and working on my application writing and interview techniques.

2. Sort through all my things, and sell or donate the things I don’t want. This is a mammoth task, but I know I’ll feel better when my life is purged of the things that I don’t need. (And I know my parents will be pleased too, haha.)

3. Start three big craft projects. I’ve been planning these in my mind for a while, so I can’t wait to actually get started. I also can’t wait to share them with you when I’m done (although they’re going to remain a secret until then!)

4. Develop a more healthy daily routine. I mean, I’ve been gradually improving but I am prone to a lie in and a family bag of sensations, like, everyday. I want to cut down on snacking, exercise three or four times a week, get up at a reasonable time everyday and read before bed instead of browsing the internet (apparently the light from screens confuses your brain into being awake which makes it hard to get to sleep.) I’m hoping that this will make me feel more energised throughout my day.

I’m very excited to start September! Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year. Do you have any goals for the month? I’d love to see them!

  1. Some of the goals you are aiming for are my goals too. But I find the 2nd one to be the hardest! I have tons of stuff too and really need to go thru them and sell the fairly new clothings and makeup products that I don’t use.

  2. These sound like very good goals to me! 🙂

    Have a great day,

P.S.: Thanks for your sweet comment on my last post!

  3. These sound like some good and reasonable goals! I wish you good luck with all of them, especially job-wise of course! Keeping my fingers crossed for you girl! 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! I love reading your thoughts :)
